A pain-free humane death for terminal pets or animals living with chronic pain.
Euthanasia is defined as the act of humanely ending the life of a living being to end extreme suffering (often as the result of a serious and irreversible medical condition). In animals, euthanasia is often called “putting to sleep” or “putting down.”
It can be hard to determine if or when the time is right to end your dog’s pain and suffering, humanely. The euthanasia of a beloved pet is a difficult time for everyone involved. However, it may be less of a strain if you have prepared in advance for the euthanasia process and you know what to expect.
We do have sister clinics that can provide in-home service if you prefer to say goodbye to your pet at home.
A veterinarian or technician would administer the drug with a catheter.
This cost may vary. We offer options for the respectful care of your pets remains including cremation and ashes in an urn.
We can refer you to several websites to help: The Association of Pet Loss and Bereavement, The Rainbow Bridge, and Metro Pet Crematory can also offer support. As well some pet insurance companies offer bereavement counselling.
